The 19th Asian Games opened in the Chinese city of Hangzhou, with the Chinese President attending the ceremony.

The 19th Asian Games kicked off in Hangzhou, China, and the stadium was bathed in color at the opening ceremony.

The colorful opening ceremony of the Asian Games was held in Hangzhou, China.  The Chinese flag was raised at the beginning of the ceremony and Chinese President Xi Jinping was also present on the occasion.

Then the contingents of the teams started arriving, the Afghanistan contingent was the first to reach the arena while the Pakistani contingent was led by shooter GM Bashir.

Pakistan will participate in 23 sports of the Asian Games, 53 female and 137 male athletes will participate in the event.

In the opening ceremony, Chinese artists showed their art, and thousands of fans in the stadium applauded the excellent performance.

A unique torch-lighting ceremony marked the official start of the 19th Asian Games, which will continue till October 8 in Hangzhou, China.
