After the defeat by Afghanistan in the ICC World Cup, Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam says that this defeat has hurt the team, bowling and fielding were not good.

In the ICC ODI World Cup, Afghanistan defeated Pakistan for the first time and won the event for the second time. Afghanistan easily achieved Pakistan's target of 283 runs in 49 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. This is Afghanistan's first victory against Pakistan in ODIs, while the Afghan team has pulled off a second upset in this World Cup. Earlier, Afghanistan won against the defending champions, England.

While giving a press conference after the match, Pakistan cricket team captain Babar Azam said I congratulate Afghanistan, anything can happen in cricket. He said that this defeat has hurt the team, the bowling and fielding were not good while the spinners did not bowl good overs in the middle overs.  There are matches to be won, win them. Babar Azam said that I do not have the burden of captaincy, when I bat, I only do my batting, when it is my turn to captain, I do full captaincy.

He said that the Pakistan team is not able to click, the fielding focus is not being fulfilled, and it is not true to be under pressure after the defeat against India, after India played well against Australia, our plans are not succeeding. Talking about his criticism of himself, Babar Azam said that I do not know what campaign was going on against him on social media.
