In a clinical investigation, Sichuan University researchers investigated the impact of tea consumption on aging and health in China.

14,000 participants, ranging in age from 30 to 79, were questioned about their daily tea intake and the general physiological consequences of aging. The findings demonstrated that tea consumption, especially in moderation, reduces biological aging.

The age of physical and mental functions determines the biological age, which is controlled by genes, lifestyle, and other variables.

According to the study, consuming three cups of tea every day may help people stay youthful longer by slowing down the aging process.

Antioxidants and polyphenols, which are abundant in tea, are essential in lowering bodily inflammation and averting cellular damage.

These substances are also necessary for the growth of gut bacteria, which have an impact on immunological response, metabolism, and brain activity.

The data to date is positive, indicating that tea consumption can reduce aging while lowering the risk of age-related disorders, while additional study is needed to validate the results.
